The goal of UMass Dartmouth's American Society of Civil Engineers is to bring Civil Engineers to our club to learn and build career knowledge.
ASCE at UMass Dartmouth:
We host several events, such as creating concrete mixtures and designing our concrete canoe that is used to compete with other ASCE student chapters. These events create a space for students interested in Civil Engineering to work together and to put into practice what they learned in class.
Why are donations necessary?
We are raising money for funding community events and additional material purchases which are used to build our concrete canoe. Some of these materials include cement, plasticizer, and some aggregates.
