DECA's goal is to help prepare students with real world scenarios in the comfort of their classroom. DECA is also a great opportunity to network with real professionals in their specified field and helps students land valuable internships and positions.
DECA at UMass Dartmouth:
DECA is still in its rebuilding phase from the effects of Covid. Over the past few years, the group has continued to grow and has brought its members very close. "Speaking from personal experience, I am very good friends with alumni members who I would have never encountered due to the age gap. DECA has allowed me to get contacts in many different areas from government officials working in the FBI to Big 4 Accounting firm managers." - Cody Neto, President
Why are donations necessary?
Funds will help support travel to our International Career Development Conference in San Francisco, this money will help cover registration costs, flights, and rooms as well as on campus activities, conference preparation and more.
