The mission of the Society of Physics Students at UMass Dartmouth is to provide a sense of community among those who share a passion for physics which includes undergraduate, graduate students, and faculty.
Society of Physics Students at UMass Dartmouth:
Our organization has fostered students' curiosity through a magnitude of initiatives. Our monthly observation nights engage the broader campus community, regularly attracting over 100 students. We also host study nights, utilizing demonstration equipment to enhance our campuses understanding of STEM.
Why are donations necessary?
We are seeking funds to help advance the mission of our organization by promoting STEM outreach through demonstrations and effective communication. Additionally, we aim to support students in attending local conferences without the burden of financial stress. We plan to use these funds to help purchase the necessary equipment to make the content of certain topics easier to understand/visualize.
